Lagos, Nigeria –  A demolition exercise was carried out today at Kakawa Street, opposite Kakawa Court, leading to slightly busy traffic conditions along the corridor, LASTMA has said.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), officials were on ground directing vehicles, adjusting lanes, and creating temporary holding points to ensure smooth movement around the demolition site.

The exercise, part of ongoing urban development and regulatory enforcement in the area, saw several commercial and private vehicles navigate the site carefully as work progressed.

Motorists traveling through Kakawa Street were urged to plan their movement and consider alternative routes where possible, especially during peak hours, to reduce congestion. LASTMA also reminded residents and commuters to adhere to traffic rules and maintain safe driving practices around the demolition zone.
