The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has deployed a total of 2,050 corps members to Bauchi State for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream I orientation exercise.

The Bauchi State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Kufre Umoren, disclosed this in an interview with News men  on Tuesday in Bauchi. He said registration for the exercise would take place from January 21 to January 23 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Wailo, located in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of the state.

According to him, the swearing-in ceremony for the corps members is scheduled for January 23, while the three-week orientation programme will run until February 10.

Mr. Umoren explained that only corps members who have been properly screened and certified as genuine graduates would be admitted into the camp, adding that discreet screening would be carried out to prevent impersonation and unauthorized entry.

He urged the corps members to strictly adhere to all camp rules and regulations throughout the orientation period, warning that defaulters would be sanctioned in line with the scheme’s existing regulations.
