By Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Tuesday flagged off his statewide tour with a working visit to Ganye Local Government Area in the Southern Zone of Adamawa State, where he met with youths, women, traditional leaders, and other stakeholders at Gangwari Square.
The visit marked the start of a deliberate and strategic engagement across the state, aimed at commissioning completed local government projects, assessing the performance of LGA chairmen, and interacting directly with communities to evaluate progress and set priorities for the future.
Addressing residents, Governor Fintiri outlined key focus areas of his administration, including improved road infrastructure, stronger educational institutions, and functional public facilities that meet the needs of the people.
He reviewed progress on major projects such as the Ganye–Sanga Sumi Road and commissioned other initiatives targeted at job creation, improved access to services, and enhanced community development.
Stakeholders from the Southern Zone, while welcoming the Governor, described the visit as historic, noting that it was a source of pride for Ganye Chiefdom to host the flag-off of the statewide tour.
They commended the administration for its inclusive approach to governance and its emphasis on accountability and people-oriented development.
The engagement reaffirmed the Fintiri administration’s commitment to grassroots participation, effective local governance, and balanced development across Adamawa State.
