Lagos, Nigeria — A loaded six tyre mini truck fell on its side on Monday morning along the NNPC inward lane at Alapere, causing a temporary obstruction on the busy route while motorists slowed down to navigate around the scene.

The incident occurred in the early hours as the truck was heading inward toward Alapere, attracting the attention of passersby, other drivers, and traffic officials who monitored the situation to prevent a build up of vehicles.

Relevant traffic agencies and concerned operators were alerted, while arrangements were immediately made to ensure the vehicle was removed from the road as quickly as possible.

A tow truck operator was promptly contacted and dispatched to the scene to carry out recovery operations. After coordinated efforts, the overturned six tyre truck was successfully recovered and towed off the location.

Following the evacuation of the vehicle, the affected section of the NNPC inward Alapere route was cleared, and normal traffic flow was fully restored.
