Borno,Nigeria- The Public Relations Officer of the Borno State Police Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, ANIPR, commended this morning a police officer, Mohammad Alhaji Muhammad, for returning the sum of ₦2.6 million received through an erroneous bank transfer.

ASP Daso reshared a post by an individual describing Mohammad, a United Bank for Africa customer, as a police officer of exceptional integrity. According to the post, the officer received the money from a Moniepoint customer in error and made deliberate efforts to trace the beneficiary bank and ensure that the funds were fully returned to the rightful owner.

The post stated that the action demonstrated a rare level of honesty, responsibility and moral discipline, noting that such conduct reflects the true values expected of a police officer.

It added that acts of this nature strengthen public trust in the Nigeria Police Force and highlight the importance of integrity in both professional and personal life.
