As part of efforts to strengthen its structures and expand its grassroots presence across the country, one of the leading opposition political parties, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), is set to officially flag off its nationwide membership registration exercise.
In a post on his verified X handle on Wednesday night, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, disclosed that the official launch date is on Thursday, February 12, 2026, 10:00am and will take place at Barcelona Hotel, Wuse 2, Abuja.
According to him, the registration drive marks a significant step toward deepening internal democracy and building what he described as a “people-powered movement” nationwide, stressing that the exercise will be a major milestone in the consolidation of the party’s internal framework.
The initiative is expected to kick-start a coordinated membership mobilisation campaign across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
