The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed on their X page (previously Twitter) that there was an accident today at Ijaiye toward Abule Egba. The car involved in the crash was a Toyota Highlander, which had a failure in the brakes.
LASTMA confirmed that the vehicle lost control, which resulted in a slight inconvenience on the road, and LASTMA added that traffic cones were installed at the location and traffic officers were present. LASTMA reported that traffic, although delayed temporarily, was managed.
LASTMA reported no injuries and death caused by the accident.
