Oyo Police Rescue Kidnap Victim after Bush Search

According to the Oyo State Police Command, it has rescued a kidnapped man at Igbeti, Oyo State. This was posted on the official X page of the Police Command today.

The Police Command said the victim in question is a 30-year-old Alhaji Gede Yusuf of Old Oyo National Park, Dauda Village. He was said to have been lost at the Igbeti area of the state. Several searches by the Police resulted in the victim being discovered.

The officers of the Police Command, were working alongside other security agencies. They also added that the kidnappers abandoned the man and he was unharmed and rescued. They emphasized that he was examined in a hospital and has been discharged.

The officers and the community members who assisted were commended by the Commissioner of Police of Oyo State, Femi Haruna. Residents are being urged by police to continue providing information. They claimed it is useful to protect and prevent crimes.
