By Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced today on his social media handle that the Light-Up Lagos project is progressing. He explained to the residents that the government is putting up new streetlights while also changing the old and faulty ones on the major highways.
He noted that the residents must have seen the work going on recently on the Mainland and the Island. He explained that the aim of the improved lighting is to encourage residents to move around while also making the state a secure place for them.
Governor Sanwo-Olu announced that the project will continue while gradually extending to other streets.
