The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Olatunji Rilwan Disu has decorated the newly promoted Deputy Inspectors-General of Police (DIGs), with a charge on them to strengthen intelligence-led policing across the country.

Disu also urged the senior police officers to deepen inter-agency cooperation and enhance operational coordination among various commands of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

Speaking during the decoration ceremony on Monday at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, Disu emphasised the need for proactive strategies in tackling emerging security threats, stressing that effective intelligence gathering and collaboration among security agencies remain critical to maintaining law and order.
