Borno Police Launch Screening for Recruitment Exercise

The Borno State Commissioner of Police, CP Naziru Abdulmajid psc, received the members of the screening committee for the ongoing police recruitment exercise for the position of police constables. This information was revealed by the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Nahum Kenneth Daso, the Police Public Relations Officer of Borno State, through his official social media handles on Monday.

The members of the screening committee, according to the police public relations officer, comprise members from the Nigerian Police Force, the Police Service Commission, the Ministry of Police Affairs, the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), the Federal Character Commission, the Borno State Guidance and Counselling Board, and other relevant stakeholders.

The screening of the candidates will begin from Monday, 9th March 2026, and end on Saturday, 18th April 2026. The screening will be conducted for the candidates who have successfully completed the online registration and are indigenes of Borno State, ASP Daso revealed today.

The Borno State Police Command has urged the shortlisted candidates to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and follow the guidelines provided for the screening, ASP Daso added.
