Rufai Oseni Says Buhari Was a Better Democrat

Journalist Rufai Oseni said on his official X page today that former President Muhammadu Buhari was a better democrat.

Oseni asserts that “Buhari not interfering in off-cycle polls contributed to the loss of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo 2020, Anambra 2021, Osun 2022 governorship polls.”

Oseni also highlighted that “In 2019 gubernatorial polls, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won in states including Bauchi, Adamawa, Sokoto, Oyo. Some of the states are those that the APC had been winning before, while some are the strongholds of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oseni added.
