By Adamawa-based philanthropist and governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, provided meals to over 5,000 students across Adamawa State as part of his Ramadan and Eid outreach programme.
The initiative targeted students in eight tertiary institutions through a sustained daily iftar feeding programme throughout the Ramadan fasting period.
Beneficiary institutions included Modibbo Adama University, Adamawa State University, Federal College of Education Yola, Adamawa State Polytechnic, College of Agriculture Ganye, and Federal Polytechnic Mubi.
The meals were distributed daily at the time of breaking fast across campuses, providing relief to students facing rising living costs.
The outreach also extended to vulnerable households in various communities, where food packages and welfare support were distributed to support Eid celebrations.
In his Eid message, Haske expressed gratitude for the successful completion of Ramadan and urged residents to sustain the values of compassion and generosity beyond the festive period, emphasizing continued support for the less privileged.
