By Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has paid a solidarity visit to Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, expressing support over what he described as a series of persecutions faced by the Bauchi State administration.
Speaking to journalists at the Government House in Bauchi on Sunday, Governor Makinde said the visit was also an opportunity to extend warm Sallah greetings on behalf of himself, the government, and the people of Oyo State.
He noted that leadership often comes with pressures and criticism, but emphasized that resilience and dedication to service ultimately inspire hope and earn public recognition.
Governor Makinde also prayed that the sacrifices made during the thirty days of Ramadan would bring blessings, renewed strength, and continued guidance for Governor Bala Mohammed and the people of Bauchi State.
In his response, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a gesture that strengthens unity and cooperation across political lines while bringing honour to Bauchi State.
He further described Makinde as a patriot and an uncommon politician, whose sincerity, determination, and contributions continue to positively impact the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Nigeria as a whole.
