Rudeboy, a Nigerian singer, has playfully revealed the easiest approach to handle haters and trolls on the internet.

Sometimes you should be kind to these trolls. They will tell you about their difficulties and frustrations, and why they are furious with you for no apparent reason. Ask them to send you their account details. Give them hope B. When they do, insult their father! W… and shut them down.”

Rudeboy’s [Instagram/Iamkingrudy] post about how to cope with trolls

Instagram users responded to his humorous post in a number of ways; many agreed with his viewpoint, while others did not.

Rudeboy’s lighthearted approach contrasts with that of fellow Nigerian musician Chike, who made news lately after giving a Twitter troll a staggering ₦1 million. In an attempt to put an end to the troll’s accusations that he had become famous because of the late singer Mohbad, Chike handed him money, which proved effective.

Conversely, Rudeboy is stating unequivocally that he is not “about that life.”
