The twelve-man Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State has been officially constituted.

‎The State Caretaker Committee Chairman, Engineer Belmont Dogo, announced this while delivering his acceptance speech to newsmen at the party secretariat on Tuesday.

Engineer Dogo explained that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP constituted the caretaker committee following the recent resignation of the state executive members of the party who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

‎He admonished members and supporters to unite and work together to ensure that the party fully recovers and resumes its rightful position as a formidable political force in the state.

‎The chairman expressed appreciation to the national leadership of the party for the confidence reposed in the committee and promised to discharge their duties effectively.
