Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has called on Nigerians to embrace unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
Speaking in Adamawa State, the governor emphasized that national progress depends on citizens promoting love, harmony, and mutual understanding regardless of ethnic or religious differences. He urged Nigerians to sustain the values of Ramadan—such as forgiveness, compassion, and brotherhood—beyond the festive period.
Fintiri also advised vigilance, encouraging residents to avoid crowded areas and remain security-conscious amid concerns over safety. He commended security agencies for maintaining stability and highlighted developmental progress recorded in the state over the past seven years.
The governor reaffirmed that unity and collective effort remain key to overcoming Nigeria’s current economic and security challenges.
