The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has shift the deadline for the purchase and submission of forms for its forthcoming zonal congresses and national convention.
National Secretary of the party, Felix Morka in a statement said the exercise will now take place from March 12 to March 23, 2026. Despite the adjustment, the APC said the dates for the events remain unchanged. The zonal congresses are scheduled for March 25, while the national convention will be held from March 26 to March 27.
The party also approved a change of venue for the South-South zonal congress, which will now be held in Asaba, Delta State. According to the statement, the updated arrangements have been formally communicated to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in line with legal requirements.
The APC urged members and stakeholders to take note of the changes and make necessary preparations.
