The hosts continued their attacking masterclass, with Lewandowski grabbing his second of the night in the 38th minute, heading in from a precise cross to make it 4–1 before halftime.
In the second half, Barcelona showed no signs of slowing down. Raphinha added a fifth in the 52nd minute with a powerful strike from outside the box. Newcastle managed to pull one back in the 60th minute through Bruno Guimarães, but any hopes of a comeback were quickly extinguished.
Ferran Torres got on the scoresheet in the 68th minute, capitalizing on a defensive error, while João Félix rounded off the scoring in the 81st minute with a clinical finish to seal a comprehensive 7–2 victory. The result underscores Barcelona’s attacking prowess and sends a strong message to their European rivals as they advance confidently into the next round of the competition.
