By The Bauchi State Government has approved the immediate payment of March 2026 salaries and wages for all categories of civil servants to enable them celebrate the forthcoming Eid al-Fitr in comfort.
This was disclosed by the Head of the Civil Service, Sani Mohammed, during a press briefing in Bauchi, where he also provided updates on the ongoing recruitment exercise in the state.
According to the HoS, the approval was granted by Governor Bala Mohammed as part of efforts to prioritise the welfare of civil servants, especially during festive periods.
He noted that the early payment would allow workers to adequately prepare for and celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families in good spirits.
Sani Mohammed expressed appreciation to the governor on behalf of the state’s civil service, commending his continued commitment to workers’ welfare and praying for sustained leadership and success throughout his tenure.
