By The Ogun State Police Command has denied reports circulating online that Nigerian entertainer Broda Shaggi was shot within the state, AfrikTimes can report.
In a statement on Friday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Oluseyi Babaseyi, said the command could not confirm that such an incident occurred anywhere in Ogun State, noting that no police formation in the state had recorded such a report.
“The Ogun State Police Command wishes to address reports alleging that the entertainer Broda Shaggi was shot within Ogun State. For clarity, the Command cannot confirm that such an incident occurred anywhere within its jurisdiction. Additionally, no such incident has been reported at any Police formation across the State,” the Police said.
The command added that it had commenced investigations to verify the claim and advised the public to rely only on official police communication while the inquiry continues.
Earlier today, different reports surfaced online that the Nigerian entertainer, Broda Shaggi, has been shot in Ogun State at a brand promotion event.
