Erik ten Hag, who is entering his third season at Old Trafford, is hopeful that he will be given time by the club’s decision-makers as the pressure increases on his position. Manchester United has only seven points from their first six Premier League games, scoring five goals in that period.

When questioned about his future at Manchester United, manager Erik ten Hag is unflinching, stating that he and the owners are aware that improvement will take time.

Despite Manchester United’s terrible start to the season, Erik ten Hag maintains he is not concerned about losing his job.

In their 3-0 home loss to Tottenham on Sunday, United put up a terrible first-half effort, dropping them to seven points after six Premier League games.

Although Bruno Fernandes was substituted just before halftime, the team’s worst moment may have occurred when they fielded eleven players.

According to Gary Neville, United’s performance in the first half was the worst he has seen under the new boss.
Ten Hag, who is entering his third season with the team, is certain that United’s executives will give him some time.
Ten Hag responded, “No, I am not thinking about this,” when asked about his future. We all decided to stick together as a leadership group and ownership group for the summer after carefully evaluating our strengths and weaknesses and our desired squad composition.

“However, given how the window went and some players—like Ugarte—entering late, we understood it would take some time. In addition, we need to improve our organization and take some time to heal from some injuries.

“The ownership, the staff, and the players are all in the same boat or on the same page. That is not a concern of mine.”

Neville described the way Manchester United played against Tottenham as “absolutely disgusting”.
Neville declared, “The first half was as bad as it gets.”
“Today is a sobering and terrible day. Ten Hag is having a terrible day.
Although Fernandes was unfortunate to receive a straight red card for tripping over James Maddison, Neville showed little pity for his removal.

“That is the entirety of Manchester United’s first half. They have been utterly shameful.

“It’s among the worst shows I’ve seen from Ten Hag. That is quite a statement. It is truly awful.”
United have less than half the points as leaders Liverpool after six games this season, placing them just 12th in the league standings.

Neville went on to say, “I’m shocked at how low they’ve sunk today.” It was one of the worst.

“I know that David Moyes had some bad ones in the early days, so has Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] along the way, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, and Ralf Rangnick, but that felt like one of those days today where they sank really low.”

Ten Hag, according to Jamie Redknapp, has “had enough time” and is not “the man to take it forward.”
“I’m seeing performances at the moment that are the kinds that get a manager sacked,” Redknapp stated.
“I’m sad for the manager, really. He seemed disoriented and out of his element.”You are in a very untenable situation when your team is actively seeking a new manager to replace you [over the summer].

“With these results, I simply don’t see how he can stay in his position. I fail to see how he can salvage it.

He’s had enough time, in my opinion. Although they have two trophies, I don’t see how he is the right person to continue it.”But because it’s such a challenging job right now, I also fail to identify who it is.”
