Aguerd joins Marseille from West Ham
Marseille have signed defender Nayef Aguerd from West Ham in a permanent deal, The Morocco international spent last season on loan at Spanish side Real Sociedad.
West Ham signed Aguerd from French club Rennes for a fee of around £30m in June 2022, The 29-year-old made 61 appearances for the Hammers and helped them win the Conference League in 2023.

Inter Milan Sign Man City defender Akanji on Loan
Inter Milan have completed the loan signing of Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji, Switzerland international has joined on an initial loan with an obligation to buy.
The loan fee is £900k (€1m) and the obligation is £13m (€15m), AC Milan and Crystal Palace had earlier expressed an interest in Akanji, who joined City in September 2022 and was a key component of the side which won the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup treble in 2023, and the team which won the domestic title again in 2024.

Fenerbahce Sign Ederson from Man City
Fenerbahce have completed the signing of goalkeeper Ederson from Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola’s side set to replace him with Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Ederson has joined the Turkish side in a deal worth around £12m (€14m), ending his eight-year stay at Man City, The 32-year-old’s exit will allow City to confirm the signing of Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain in a £26m deal, The Italy international has agreed a five-year deal plus the option of a further year.

Ederson leaves Manchester City after eight trophy-laden years, having helped the club to 18 major honours, including six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and a Champions League.
The Brazilian, who has joined Fenerbahce in a deal worth around £12m, also won the Golden Glove award three times, Ederson told Manchester City’s website:

“Under (head coach) Pep (Guardiola), we have dominated the Premier League and conquered Europe. It has been amazing.”
Como Terminate Dele Alli Contract
Dele Alli has seen his contract mutually terminated by Como, The English midfielder played just once for Cesc Fabregas‘ side last season, with the 29-year-old sent off just nine minutes into his debut against AC Milan.
Como and Dele Alli have agreed to a mutual termination of his contract, a statement from the Serie A club said, Dele is keen to secure regular playing opportunities and, as he was not part of the club’s immediate plans, both parties felt it was the right decision to part ways ahead of the transfer window closing, The club thanks Dele for his time at Como and wishes him the very best for the future.”

Antony, Jadon Sancho and Rasmus Hojlund all departed Manchester United on final day of summer transfer window; after fortnight of negotiations, Senne Lammens joined club in deal worth £18.2m as goalkeeper chosen over Aston VIlla’s Emi Martinez.

Manchester United finally offloaded most of their ‘bomb squad’ as Antony completed a permanent move to Real Betis, while Rasmus Hojlund and Jadon Sancho joined Napoli and Aston Villa on loan respectively, The club had begun Transfer Deadline Day with Antony, Hojlund, Sancho and Tyrell Malacia exiled from Ruben Amorim’s squad, with only the latter remaining at Old Trafford until January at least.
Antony’s return to Betis ended a summer of speculation over whether he would end up back in LaLiga, having spent the second half of last season at the club and racking up seven goal contributions in 17 games, He joined them for £21.7m, a loss of £64m from when Man Utd paid Ajax £86m for him in 2022.
Jadon Sancho, who had been a target for Roma, joined Villa as one of a number of late additions to Unai Emery’s squad, with Rasmus Hojlund making a temporary move to Napoli, who have been seeking further striking reinforcements all summer.
Few incomings were expected after Brighton rejected an offer for Carlos Baleba last month, with Senne Lammens the only arrival in an attempt to solve the ongoing goalkeeping issues at Old Trafford.

Gunners Completes Record-Breaking Summer
Arsenal sealed a deal with Bayer Leverkusen to sign Piero Hincapie on a season-long loan with an option to buy for £45m on Deadline Day; It was the Gunners‘ only arrival on a hectic day which saw Jakub Kiwior, Fabio Vieira, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Oleksandr Zinchenko leave the club.
Arsenal’s busy transfer window ended with an eighth signing in defender Piero Hincapie, while it was a busy day of outgoings at the Emirates Stadium on Deadline Day.
Hincapie, who completed a season long loan deal with an option to buy for £45m 0n Deadline Day, joins Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera, Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze in north London as Arsenal’s spending reached £257m in an unprecedented summer for the club.
Jakub Kiwior completed a move to Porto on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy for £24m, Kiwior joined the Gunners from Spezia in a deal worth £20m in January 2023. The Poland international made 68 appearances for the Gunners, scoring three goals.
