INEC alerts public on large amount of uncollected PVCs in Osun

Osun, Nigeria – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Osun State, in a release on Tuesday, August 26, revealed that there are over 360,794 uncollected Personal Voter Cards in Osun State. The release was signed by Musa Olurode, the Public Relations Officer, on behalf of Dr Mutiu Agboke, the Resident Electoral Commissioner.

The release stated, “There are over 360,794 PVCs uncollected in Osun State. The management of the Commission in Osun State under the able leadership of Dr Mutiu Agboke is requesting all those who have been validly registered in the past, but who, for one reason or another, were unable to collect their PVCs, to use this ample opportunity to approach the various INEC offices for their cards.”

The release stated further, “The PVCs shall be available for collection at the 30 INEC local government offices and the area office at Modakeke from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.”

This notice is made amid the ongoing voter registration process. INEC stated the process includes the collection of PVCs as well. Agboke concluded by stating, “Let us continue to register our names, and we must avoid multiple registrations at all times. God bless the people of Osun State.”
