Afrobeat superstar Kizz Daniel has released two much-awaited singles, “Marhaba” and “We Must,” as he continues to commemorate ten years of musical brilliance.
These brand-new songs were a part of the continuing celebrations for his “Vado At 10” anniversary, which honors a decade of ground-breaking hits, international acclaim, and steadfast fan loyalty.
The superstar’s media company, Artmatazz Media, is led by Christian Agadibe. He revealed this to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Thursday.
According to Agadibe, “Marhaba,” which was produced by the talented duo Ramii and Suhel Nafar, combines the distinctive sound of Kizz Daniel with new and inventive sounds that fuse Afrobeats with traditional music from Northern Africa.
He claimed that the song would add another dimension to his already extensive musical resume by connecting with listeners both domestically and abroad.
He clarified that one of the most frequently used phrases throughout Northern Africa and the Middle East is the Arabic term “Marhaba,” which means “hello” or “welcome” in English.
During Kizz Daniel’s brief but unforgettable stay there, it struck a deep chord with him and acted as a major influence in the creation of the song.
“This not only demonstrates Kizz Daniel’s ability to write music that transcends many countries and cultures, but it also demonstrates his special gift for bringing disparate audiences together.
According to Agadibe, Kizz Daniel “continues to elevate Afrobeats on the world stage, bridging the gap between nations through the universal language of music” by fusing worldwide influences into his style.
The CEO clarified that “We Must,” which was created by the well-known Ayzed—who is well-known for his fruitful partnerships with Kizz Daniel and prominent Nigerian producer Blaisebeats—was a song that would undoubtedly become a national anthem that celebrates tenacity and resolve.
He had planned to work with a well-known UK rapper to add a gritty, grime vibe to the song, but when the verse didn’t arrive on time, he decided to handle things himself.
Kizz Daniel emphasized that instead of waiting, he chose to enter the grime genre himself, delivering the verse and making the song a solo effort.
He went on, “This audacious move inspired the track’s distinctive credit, ‘We Must,’ starring Thyself and Kizz Daniel. It demonstrates his adaptability and resolve to push the envelope of creativity while adhering to his goal.
“These new releases add depth to Kizz Daniel’s already renowned repertoire and further establish him as one of Afrobeats’ most important performers.
“Both songs demonstrate his adaptability and capacity to change while maintaining his distinctive style.
“With ‘Marhaba’ and ‘We Must,’ Kizz Daniel not only produces hits but also reimagines his heritage, demonstrating his versatility and consistency throughout the past ten years.
“These songs serve as a testament to his artistic development and ongoing relevance in the global music scene as he continues to release groundbreaking music.”
Agadibe continued, “Kizz Daniel inspires both his peers and up-and-coming artists with each release, setting a new standard in Afrobeats.”
