Former Liverpool boss, Jürgen Klopp has firmly dismissed speculation linking him with managerial roles at Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, describing the rumours as “annoying” and unfounded.

As reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Klopp made it clear that no formal approach has been made by either Spanish giant, shutting down growing reports about a potential move to La Liga.

“The rumours about Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid are annoying,” Klopp said. “No one called to open a negotiation.”

The German tactician, who recently stepped away from his role at Liverpool, stressed that any serious discussions would require direct contact, insisting that has not happened.

“I’m sorry but they’d have to call before I can say anything. It didn’t happen,” he added.

Klopp’s comments come amid increased speculation about managerial changes at top European clubs, with his name frequently mentioned due to his track record and availability. However, his latest remarks suggest that, for now, any links to Spain remain purely speculative.
