Lagos Announces Daytime Road Works Across Multiple Areas

Lagos, Nigeria- The Lagos State Government announced today that the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC) will carry out road maintenance works at several locations across the state as part of its scheduled day shift operations.

According to the schedule released by the government and dated February 5, 2026, the works will cover key roads in six local government and local council development areas, including Ifako-Ijaiye, Alimosho, Lagos Island, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Ikorodu, Ikeja, Agege and Oshodi-Isolo.

The affected locations include Coker Close off Yaya Abatan/College Road in Ifako-Ijaiye; Amule/Ashimi Alakara and Olayemi Ayobo Roads in Alimosho; Apongbon Road Service Lane in Lagos Island; and Rasaki Street in Ajeromi-Ifelodun.

Other roads listed for repairs are Oluwo Amodu Street/Olayinka Street in Ikorodu, Morgan Estate Road in Ikeja, Old Ipaja Road in Agege, Wuraola Street and Rufai Oseni Street in Oshodi-Isolo, Obawole Bridge toward Bola Oyewo Street in Ifako-Ijaiye, Lasu Iba Road in Alimosho, Ikorodu Road/In-bound Ketu in Ikorodu, and Ogunmusi Road from Excellence Hotel inward Berger in Ikeja.

The government noted that the schedule may change due to unforeseen conditions.
