Lagos, Nigeria — The Lagos State Government this afternoon announced the sealing of a premises at No. 19 Musa Yar’Adua Street, Eti-Osa, over environmental violations, according to the Lagos State government.
In a statement issued this afternoon, Lagos State government said its Waste Surveillance, Investigation and Enforcement Unit, working in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment Enforcement Team and Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) Marshal operatives, carried out the enforcement operation on February 7, 2026.

The Lagos State government stated that the action followed an environmental infraction complaint, which led to investigations into activities that had persistently defaced the environment at the location.
According to the Authority, the premises was sealed to ensure full compliance with environmental regulations, while wooden carts found at the site were confiscated during the operation.
The Lagos State government said the exercise reinforces the Lagos State Government’s commitment to maintaining a cleaner and safer Lagos.
