By Lagos, Nigeria– The Lagos State Government announced today that the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has arrested two individuals for illegally dumping waste along Igando–Egan Road.
The suspects, Igwe Chisom and Awo Uchenna, both from Ebonyi State, were caught dumping waste at Egan Primary School on Thursday, 5th of February, 2026, at about 10:00 a.m., according to LAWMA.
The agency made the announcement today, confirming the identities of the individuals and the location of the incident, as part of ongoing efforts to enforce proper waste disposal in Lagos State.
