At the Martyrs of Benina Stadium, Libya will host the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match.
Group D’s lowest team, Libya, will host the match at the Benina facility, which is 19 kilometers outside of Benghazi, the nation’s second-biggest city.
Known previously as Hugo Chávez Stadium, the stadium is a 10,000-capacity facility with an artificial field.
Before their meeting in the city on the Mediterranean Sea’s periphery on October 15, both nations will engage in a match on Match Day 3 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on October 11.
The fight in Benina will begin at 8 p.m. Nigerian time, while the game in Uyo will start at 5 p.m.
After two rounds of games, Libya is still bottom of Group D. They lost 1-2 to the Benin Republic’s Cheetahs in Abidjan and tied 1-1 against Rwanda at home in the Tripoli International Stadium.
Nigeria leads the pool with four points following their 3-0 thumping of the Benin Republic.
