Lafia, Nigeria – Governor Abdullahi Sule officially launched “Operation Sanity,” a comprehensive road safety campaign in partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital.

The initiative targets reckless driving and aims to reduce road traffic crashes across the state, reinforcing a commitment to protecting lives and promoting safer roads.

Speaking at the launch event, Governor Sule declared an end to reckless driving in Nasarawa, urging residents to join hands with the FRSC in making road safety a collective responsibility. “The era of reckless driving is over,” he stated, emphasizing the state government’s dedication to ensuring the safety of its citizens.

FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed detailed the campaign’s approach, describing “Operation Sanity” as a multi-pronged effort to enforce traffic regulations and foster a safety-conscious culture.
