Vice-President Kashim Shettima, on behalf of Tinubu, emphasized the significance of eschewing corruption and maintaining the highest standard of professionalism in the performance of their duties.

In addition, Tinubu declared, “We are starting a massive recruitment drive into the Police Force with the goal of enabling our youth to participate in national security efforts.”

In carrying out their responsibilities, the graduates were exhorted by the president to closely adhere to the ideals of contemporary policing.

He conveyed his conviction that the officers had undergone sufficient professional and academic preparation to have a beneficial influence on the nation’s security framework.

Said to be among the top police training facilities in Sub-Saharan Africa, Tinubu said that the Federal Government will keep funding the institution.
The President further urged them to maintain police values and vigilance while emphasizing efficient service delivery.

As you graduate today, you’re getting more than just a certificate; you’re also representing the Nigeria Police Service as ambassadors.

“I demand that you carry out your main responsibilities with professionalism, ethics, and compassion.

“Keep in mind that you represent the police department and that what you do affects not just the organization but the entire country.”

“Go forth and serve with honor, dignity, and respect for all Nigerians,” Tinubu said, applauding the graduates.

Prior to this, AIG Sadiq Abubakar, the Commandant of the Academy, stated that the 478 graduates had acquired critical policing skills to improve the nation’s security environment.
“The National Universities Commission has accredited 17 of the academy’s programs, in keeping with the college’s high standards.

“I express my gratitude to the Federal Government for its substantial support of these grads, which has made today’s graduation ceremony possible,” he declared.
