Abuja, Nigeria
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, showers praises on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as the party’s biggest asset. The party helmsman expressed confidence that the president is strategically positioned to win a second term in office comes 2027.
Yilwada made the remarks today in Abuja at the APC Northwest Youth Mobilisation Meet-and-Greet programme hosted by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo.
In his keynote address, Yilwatda outlined several factors he said would strengthen Tinubu’s re-election bid, including rising youth involvement, visible policy outcomes, the party’s expanding national footprint, and the application of data-focused mobilisation techniques.
He noted that Tinubu’s governance style and the APC’s increasing grassroots penetration have helped the party earn recognition as “the largest political party in Africa,” adding that its acceptance continues to spread nationwide.
“Every day we keep on receiving more governors. Every day we keep on receiving more National Assembly members. We receive market women. We receive farmers. We receive students,” he said.
Reiterating the need for solidarity within the party, the APC chairman called on members to remain loyal and united, stating: “This party is your biggest asset. The President is our biggest asset. Let us stand by this party.”
