Rangers rebel Igamane in Lille for Medical

Rangers striker Hamza Igamane has undergone a medical in France and has passed his medica  ahead of his £10.4m move to Lille, The 22-year-old is now finalising the paperwork on a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 club.

Head coach Russell Martin revealed on Sunday that Igamane refused to come on as a second-half substitute during Rangers’ draw away to St Mirren, claiming he was injured.

Sterling, Jackson closer to Chelsea exit door?

Chelsea have yet to bring forward a plan to enable Raheem Sterling  to leave the club as they also look to offload players, Fulham, Crystal Palace and West Ham United could all be potential destinations for the forward.

AC Milan have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign forward Christopher Nkunku, The total amount the transfer could reach is just over £36m (€42m).

If Chelsea manage to sell Nkunku and Nicholas Jackson, it would put them in a strong position to sign two new forwards themselves, They are close to an agreement with Manchester United for Alejandro Garnacho, And they also remain interested in RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons and Barcelona’s Fermin Lopez, RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich had also tried to sign Nkunku.

Late moves for Isak AND Guehi at Liverpool

Liverpool are growing in confidence that they could seal a sensational late deal for Marc Guehi, The club received a boost in their plot to sign Alexander Isak yesterday after Newcastle belatedly said they are open to negotiations.

Sky Sports News has reported that Palace value Guehi at more than £40m, but Liverpool do not want to overpay for a player that is into the final year of his deal,The south London side host Fredrikstad at Selhurst Park in the Conference League play-off tonight, before going to Norway for the return leg a week later.

Forest approach Leipzig for Geertruida

Nottingham Forest have approached RB Leipzig over right-back Lutsharel Geertruida, He is one of four full-back options the club are working on with five days of the window remaining.

Serie A side Atalanta are also interested, however, and have approached RB about a deal as well, Geertruida has several options and a possible loan move with an option to buy is being discussed, Geertruida himself is dissatisfied and open to a departure, despite joining the club only last summer from Feyenoord.

 

 

Brentford reject advances for Ajer

Brentford have rejected a bid from Wolfsburg for defender Kristoffer Ajer, The offer was understood to be worth an initial £11m, rising to a total of just under £13m (€15m).
