Several other aspirants were also screened and cleared for positions including National Organising Secretary, National Treasurer, National Financial Secretary, National Welfare Secretary, and National Auditor, among others. A majority of the aspirants were asked to “take a bow and go,” a sign of consensus based on their previous service and contributions to the party, indicating that many of the positions may be uncontested at the convention.

The development underscores the APC’s push for unity and continuity as the party prepares to formally ratify its leadership at Saturday’s National Convention.
