Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Sweden for a two-day working visit focused on enhancing trade and bilateral relations between Nigeria and Sweden. Key areas of collaboration on the agenda include trade, investment, ICT, education, mining, and agriculture.
Shettima is joined by Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and several heads of government agencies. The visit, initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will feature high-level discussions with top Swedish officials. The Vice President is also scheduled to meet Crown Princess Victoria and Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
The visit aims to strengthen ties between both nations in sectors such as ICT, digitalization, sustainable transport, agriculture, and mining. Vice President Shettima is expected to return to Nigeria on Saturday.
