Following the conclusion of the group phase of the Europa League on Thursday night, 12 Teams have been confirmed eliminated from the competition.
They are Young Boys, Sturm Graz, FCSB, Go Ahead Eagles, Feyenoord, Basel and RB Salzburg. Others include Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Malmo, Utrecht, Nice and Rangers.
Brann edged Young Boys to the final play-off spot for the knockouts on goal difference. These are the clubs that finished between 25th and 36th on the log. They will also not play in another European competition as the rules have changed.
The draw will be held from UEFA’s headquarters in Switzerland on Friday January 30.
The top eight teams; Lyon, Aston Villa, Midtjylland, Real Betis, Porto, Braga, Freiburg and Roma – have all qualified for the next round of the Europa League, but the clubs they will face in the knockout phase are not confirmed yet.
