In an unusual development, six English Premier League clubs : Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have qualified for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
Before the conclusion of Wednesday’s play-off fixtures, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham had already secured their places after finishing among the top eight in the league phase of the competition.
Newcastle United completed the line-up on Tuesday, sealing qualification with a dominant 9–3 aggregate victory over Qarabağ FK.
Osimhen on Target as Galatasaray Progress

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen was the hero for Galatasaray, scoring a decisive extra-time goal to send the Turkish side into the Round of 16.
Galatasaray were level at 5–5 on aggregate against Juventus when Osimhen struck with a right-footed finish from the left side of the box to make it 6–5. The Turkish champions added another goal through Barış Alper Yılmaz to seal progression.
Other Qualified Teams
Other clubs that have booked their places in the last 16 include Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Sporting CP, Bodø/Glimt, Atlético Madrid, Atalanta, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.
