By Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has shed light on recent developments within Chelsea, addressing player morale, squad planning, and concerns over internal information leaks.
The Chelsea boss revealed that he recently held a constructive conversation with Enzo Fernández amid speculation surrounding the midfielder’s future. According to Rosenior, the discussion reaffirmed the player’s commitment to the club.
“I had a great conversation with Enzo,” he said. “He made it really, really clear to me how happy he is at this club.”
Rosenior also expressed strong optimism about the future of Mamadou Sarr, describing the youngster as a key figure in Chelsea’s long-term plans.
“I am so excited for his career, that is why he is here. He’s a massive part of our plans,” Rosenior stated, highlighting the importance of growth through adversity. “You have to go through negative experiences sometimes to improve.”
Addressing reports of leaks within the squad, Rosenior acknowledged the issue but dismissed any suggestion of ill intent from within the camp.
“We know. It’s not come from any place of malicious intent, to me or the team,” he explained. “We have dealt with the situation.”
