President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, urging citizens to embrace the virtues of the holy month and demonstrate renewed commitment to the nation.

In his message signed by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu encouraged Muslims to uphold the values of Ramadan, emphasizing piety, empathy, selflessness, perseverance, and compassion.

“We have a lot to draw from the noble lessons of Ramadan, especially at a time like this.

We must continue to abide by the virtues of piety, selflessness, perseverance, kindness, and compassion beyond this period,” he said.

The President also called on Muslim faithful to extend acts of kindness to the needy, regardless of faith, as a demonstration of unity and national solidarity. He urged religious leaders to use the celebrations as a moment to pray for peace, stability, and prosperity across the country.

The message underscores the administration’s focus on fostering interfaith harmony and reinforcing civic responsibility among Nigerians.
