AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that the club is yet to open discussions with Luka Modrić over his future, with the midfielder’s contract set to expire in June.
Allegri disclosed that the situation remains unresolved, stressing that the next move lies entirely with the veteran Croatian playmaker.
“We did not discuss about it yet. It’s Luka’s decision and we’re waiting for him,” the Milan boss said.
Modrić, widely regarded for his experience and leadership, has been an important figure for the Rossoneri, and the club is keen to see him extend his stay.
However, with no formal talks underway, uncertainty continues to surround the midfielder’s future as the end of his current deal approaches.
