Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that forward Mohamed Salah will be unavailable for the club’s upcoming Premier League fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion due to a muscle injury.
Speaking ahead of the match as reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Slot revealed that the Egyptian star is not fit enough to feature, dealing a setback to Liverpool FC as they continue their campaign.
The manager also disclosed that Salah will not join the Egypt national football team during the international break. Instead, he will remain at the club’s training base to undergo treatment and focus on his recovery.
While the severity of the injury has not been officially disclosed, the decision to withdraw him from both club and international duties indicates a cautious approach by Liverpool’s medical team.
Salah’s absence will be a major concern for the Reds, given his importance to the team’s attacking setup, as they prepare for a challenging encounter against Brighton.
