By The All Progressive Congress (APC) has announced the schedule for the party’s House of Representatives in Oyo state.
The schedule which was signed by Olawale Sadare stated that the Prof. Mojeed Alabi led House of Representatives Primary committee is due to arrive in Oyo state of which is very pertinent for all members to note the necessary things about the party primary
Firstly, the party primary is said to hold on Saturday, May 16, 2026 nationwide and Oyo state is not exempted.
“The Party Primary will hold in all the 351 wards as it is aimed at producing APC candidates in all the 14 Federal constituencies in the state. Time for the Exercise is 11am prompt” the notice reads
The notice expressed that the primary will hold in ward meetings venues or any designated place chosen by the relevant stakeholders, these venues have been communicated to INEC, Security Agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
The notice also expressed that only those who registered in the last membership E- registration are the expected individuals that will receive their membership slips before the start of the Exercise. While those whose slips have been vandalized by thugs may not get their slips but an alternative arrangement has been put in place to enable them to demonstrate their franchise.
“Affirmation will be done in places where only one Aspirant Agent is available as we are aware that some aspirants have stepped down voluntarily in the overall interest of the party and their constituencies” the notice added.
The notice warned that no member or aspirants is expected to leave the word and if anyone violate the law, it might lead to disqualification or sanctions.
Members are urged “to be peaceful in their conduct and actions before, during and after the Exercise as maximum security is guaranteed in all the venues”
