By In another flashpoint days to Saturday’s governorship election, the APC House of Representatives candidate for the Boripe/Ifelodun/Odo-Otin Federal Constituency, Damilare Francis Eniade, has been captured in a separate viral video threatening voters in Odo-Otin who do not belong to the ruling party.
In the video, Eniade is heard swearing an oath before warning, “I swear in God’s name; I swear in Jesus’ name; anyone who is not an APC member should not come out to vote on election day. But anyone who refuses [to heed this] will find out on election day.”
He is further heard invoking Adewale Egbedun, the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly and a prominent Odo-Otin politician aligned with the Accord Party, declaring, “Egbedun is my younger brother; I am his father,” before adding that this posture would apply “throughout Odo-Otin.” Eniade is also heard naming Okuku, a community in Odo-Otin, specifically warning that Accord Party members “can’t come out to vote” there and directing supporters to relay the warning “to everyone in your ward level.”

Second Threat Video in 24 Hours
The video emerges barely 2 hours after a separate clip showing Senator Francis Fadahunsi, representing Osun East, inciting violence against Accord Party members in Ijeshaland, a video that has already drawn a formal demand from Governor Ademola Adeleke’s campaign council for the senator’s arrest and prosecution.
These two videos point to a rapidly deteriorating campaign climate in the final stretch to Saturday’s election, with opposition parties and civil society voices likely to seize on both as evidence of a coordinated pattern of voter intimidation across Osun’s federal constituencies.
Election Day Looms
With INEC set to conduct the governorship poll on Saturday, August 15, security agencies are already facing mounting pressure to respond to a string of incidents in the past week alone, including a cult-related clash in Ilesa that left three dead, allegations of unlawful arrests of opposition figures, and now two separate videos of political figures appearing to threaten voters and rival party members.
