By The Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has paid for his presidential form to contest under the African Democratic Congress platform ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election
The African Democratic Congress has confirmed this through their official statement which was posted on their X account on Saturday.
The post was accompanied by a receipt confirming the transaction. The receipt indicates a payment of ₦90 million through bank draft, stated as the cost of the presidential nomination form ahead of the 2027 general election. The receipt is dated Friday, May 8, 2026.
“This development marks another significant moment in the growing movement for national renewal, democratic inclusion and people-driven leadership within the ADC” the statement reads.
The statement further promised Nigerians seeking alternatives that the party is committed to “providing a strong platform built on unity, competence, economic recovery, security and national progress”
Furthermore, the formal presentation of nomination forms is expected on Monday at the ADC National Secretariat, Abuja.
