By Habeeb Badmus, popularly known as Portable, expressed his gratitude to his maker for saving his life in a video posted on his Instagram story on Thursday night.
He said that his car had a brake failure but that he was lucky to swerve to the the side. According to him, no one was killed and his car wasn’t badly damaged.
He called on the government to help in constructing the road that led to his house. He emphasized that he once had an accident on the road.
Portable explained that he had already bought two cows for his naming ceremony because the accident occur a day before his newborn son’s naming ceremony.
He explained that “Nothing do me o. I came out unhurt. I suddenly realized that the car had a failed brake. My people have arrived here (at the scene of the incident) I thank God they are not here to carry my corpse”
The naming ceremony is for his son with wife Bewaji, who gave birth during Portable’s boxing match with Carter Efe on May 1, 2026.
The singer had earlier distributed free Ankara aso ebi fabric to mark the occasion.
